Music Industry Quarterly sends it condolences to the family, friends and fans of Bashar Jackson aka Pop Smoke (20). The Brooklyn born rapper was shot and killed during a home invasion in the Hollywood Hills on Wednesday, February 19. He just released Meet the Woo 2 earlier this month, and was scheduled to kick off a tour at the end of February. Signed to Republic Records, the label issued a statement, saying, “We are devastated by the unexpected and tragic loss of @realpopsmoke.
