Injury Reserve Member Groggs Dead At 32

 

Groggs from the popular Arizona indie hip hop group Injury Reserve passed away on the 29th of June. His cause of death is not certain at this time. He was 32 years old at the time of his passing.

Injury Reserve gained first gained popularity on the Arizona State University campus and springboarded into an online sensation with their unique blend of hip hop that borrowed from everything from jazz to K Pop to New Zealand war chants. The group released their first mixtape Live From the Dentist Office in 2015. They followed it a year later with another mixtape, 2016’s Floss. They released their self-titled studio debut last year, which featured from DRAM, Rico Nasty, Amine, and Freddie Gibbs.

On Twitter, Injury Reserve shared a GoFundMe page to support Groggs’ family, including his four children.
