Today, GRAMMY winner Tori Kelly released her new EP, Solitude. Self-recorded at home during the spring 2020 quarantine, the five-song effort sports a fresh musical outlook inspired by both the ’90s R&B she grew up with and her early days as an earnest, guitar-toting singer-songwriter. She collaborated remotely on the lead single “Unbothered” with writers Chloe George and Micah Premnath and producer Jorgen Odegard (P!nk, Yungblud). View the lyric video HERE.
With her 2020 European tour cut short due to COVID-19, Tori began collaborating with artists like Demi Lovato, JoJo, and Alessia Cara online via her “QuaranTEA with Tori” series (view highlights HERE) and working on new music.
On Wednesday, August 19, Tori will perform all of the tracks from Solitude live for the first time, exclusively on MelodyVR, as part of the music platform’s Live from LA series. Fans can experience Tori’s interactive 360° virtual reality performance for free at 6:00 pm PT / 9:00 pm ET / 2:00 am + 1 day BST on the MelodyVR app. Available on smartphones and VR headsets, the MelodyVR app can be downloaded at on.melodyvr.com/App.
