Sada Baby has launched Big Squad, a new imprint in partnership with ADA Worldwide.
The deal sees Sada Baby signing new talent and releasing creative projects including mixtapes and compilations with the support of the Warner Music Group entities.
Big Squad’s first release, Bartier Bounty 2, is out today (July 24) as a follow-up to Sada Baby’s 2019 mixtape, Bartier Bounty.
The Detroit native came to broad recognition with his breakout track “Bloxk Party”, and its accompanying visual which has garnered over 60m views to date.
Sada’s relationship with Asylum Records, which began shortly after the release of “Bloxk Party”, laid the foundation for this current ADA deal. “Sada records new material at racehorse speed and he’s always ahead of the game, with an eye for what’s next,” said Asylum Records GM Gabrielle Peluso.
Sada added “With the support of my Asylum family and the ADA network, I have the opportunity to expand my profile as an innovative artist and pour resources into an exciting roster of young talent. “Big Squad is a movement, and this is just the tip of the iceberg.”
