Hailing from East St. Louis, Illinois, Therese-Marie jumped full on into the music industry at the robust age of 20. “God spoke to me and I answered,” she says. “Music was the path that He wanted me to take.” The result has been three independently-released full-length projects, along with a number of single releases that range from Pop, Urban, and Country genres.
Therese-Marie is enjoying some buzz over in the United Kingdom with her latest single, titled, “Starting Over.” Her Pop Urban song, “Candy Jar,” featuring Jae Ron, was in rotation on MTV2’s Sucka Free Show, and has logged more than 200,000 views on You Tube.
